You beat me to it LOL

I looked at my work order and the most expensive part was 37116793871 which is around the price you posted. Still a fair bit considering...

Out of curiosity, I've looked up the price.

Now it's not as bad as I thought, but still far more expensive than going with a static setup like a M Performance Suspension or potentially not as easy to work with on the track as adjustable coilovers.

I got clonks at 92,000 Kms and sure enough both front struts were weakened. Noticeable improvement after. I estimate the damage occurred over several known metal joints in a location, I probably went over them 90-100km/hr ten times, and one incident of a cutout two lengths of the car, naight, highway. by the time I saw the cones I dropped and back up 1.5 of vertical concrete. So they probably started weakening at 40,000 kms maybe 50k with those events, and 92 k just weak (still passable). But since the new ones make such a difference am willing to accept that they took a beating two years ago easily. It is also pothole drain rleative, some of my streets have them on the median separation so the left wheel takes a beating. That was also the worse strut.

Replacing Adaptive M strut plus mount 1,400$ under warranty, yr 4.5 92,000 kms..

My adaptive dampers have 42,000 miles on them and are still going strong. I'll definitely switch to coils whenever they wear out though. Saves money and it'll fix the F31's reverse rake issue.

Doesn't time fly. My F31 has just clicked over 100,000km and the adaptive suspension still feels fine. On Sport, it's decidedly firm, and Comfort is, well, comfortable but still controlled. They might last another 100,000km yet.
