Tire should be a Michelin Pilot SS Wheeloffset is 36mm (stock 19inch M-Wheels) I don't want to add a spacer, I think it will look flush enough. Before adding a spacer, I would go for a 235x35x19 Tire. |

have hr sport B8 combo, m3 LCA, front strut bar, hr rear sway jsut added. The rear is tighter than the front now. I plan on adding hr front sway and maybe taking out the m3 LCA because with the front m3 LCA, i have to mcuh camber and the wheels are moved foward toward the front bumper causing rubbing, which means i cant put any agressive after market wheels on.

Harold, I wanted to see if you knew if the f82 Rear arms would work on the f30/f32? I don't have one to measure them against. I bought the dinan solid arms for my f82 and want to sell the rear arms. In the past the toe link wouldn't work because of the subframe being different for the LSD. So the only one reusable is the upper rear link?

This is an interesting thread ...seems like an awesome upgrade: adding approx. 1 degree of negative camber is a big plus and is much needed in these cars, but not at the expense of upsetting the suspension geometry. As people have stated, installing these F8X LCAs will move the tire/wheel closer to the front of the wheel well causing a problem for those of us running a wide wheel/tire combo in front, but more importantly, not being able to correct/adjust caster will not only cause rubbing for some, but causes a concern for bump steer.
I wouldn’t consider installing these LCAs unless/until there is a solution to correct/adjust caster. Possible solutions might be an offset TS bushing, or an adjustable TS arm to lengthen the TS accordingly, correcting the suspension geometry. Question: Since installing the longer L8X LCAs gives approx. 1 degree of negative camber by moving the hub outward about an inch, where is the suspension pivoting to allow for this? Does the stock suspension have an axial (strut mount) bearing to allow for this without binding? Vendors are selling these as a suspension “upgrade”. Until someone comes up with a solution to correct the suspension geometry with these arms, I wouldn’t call this an upgrade. It’s also concerning in this thread when a member of this board asks HP Auto to “confirm that everything else (other than camber) can be aligned into spec with the F8x LCA and stock TS” and the response is “Camber would be the only setting changed here. All other settings were within factory specs”. BTW, I emailed Turner about this concern and was surprised to receive no response. A better way to go might be adjustable camber plates, though I think they are only available in the 3-hole/bolt strut mount configuration (up to 12/2014), and not for the 5-bolt. |

Caster is increased with the addition of these arms. None M cars have less wheel well space to accommodate the added caster and spaced needed while turning the wheel so that should be kept in mind.
Camber plates will also at camber, but they do not address the dynamic camber changes with the none M arms. In addition, the added road noise with camber plates drive most most DD guys away. Both early and late production(3 and 5 hole) camber plates are available for both F2x/F3x and F8x from many vendors. |

Yes, the RWD F30. It's not really about using BMW branded parts. A lot of F8X M3/4 owners are selling their stock springs after going aftermarket loading the market with supply. If they did fit, definitely a cheap and easy mod.

How many mm of spacer could be matched with F8x TS on F32 ? Only spacer it needed ? What else I need to consider ?
Over +1 degree caster made a problem in my case ... Wheel house (protection cover for 3 O'clock sideview camera side) has damaged ... by monster 437M wheel + PSS 235-40-19 !! Quote:

Doubt it.
437m front on a non M car running a taller tyre than standard. Bound to be problematic.....
