A few more words I guess. I just read this thread from start to finish again, this is not meant as a criticism but I am curious about the decision to stick with the run flats? If your a high mileage or lots of out in the boonies driver it can make sense but the concensus seems to be they suck as far as performance is concerned. Again no criticism implied, it's your ride and a true beauty at that.

Good question! It's really simple. Budget lol.
I'm not a rich person by any means and I had to pick and choose. I hadn't planned on getting the MPPSK when I purchased the car. Rather MPPSK was kind of an impulse buy so I had to make sacrifices elsewhere. So I chose to keep the run flats. I'm aware of run flats inability when it comes to performance and I've never been a fan but it was a sacrifice I had to make to get the MPPSK. I will be replacing them when the time comes but for now the run flats will do
Thank you for the compliments

I think they changed their design. Pump is nice and easy to use but the pump tends to leak. The Brilliant Glaze is very watery and tends to leak out of the pump when it's tilted... I think that's why they changed the top portion.

Very nice indeed...how do you find the MPPSK? Did you consider getting it chipped from AC Schnitzel?

Thanks! I haven't really got on it since the purchase. But the sound is intoxicating and the torque is an instant joy even at low rpm (I have yet passed 3500 rpm yet lol).

I was not aware that ACS had a chip for 340i...
I initially planned on JB4 + intake, ER downpipe, and AWE full exhaust, but I felt that much power is not needed on a daily driver.
Plus keeping the BMW warranty in tact was a major plus with MPPSK. Not regretting one little bit

Got my replacement key case from BMW. I was told this is the newer version but from just looking at it I really can't tell any difference?!??
At least this time the blue screw didn't break. I was extremely careful with it and did not torque it too much.
Hopefully it will last this time.

Not sure if this is a manufacturing issue or not but my car has been making a lot of creaking noises from my windows. I know because when I open the windows the noises stop. Sounds like plastic parts rubbing together. I had my tints done last weekend and I'm thinking maybe that's causing the noises? Wondering if anyone else experienced this issue...

I had this on my 340i M Sport. The black rubber trim rubs against the doorsill. I had a waterless detail, which uses a lot of lubrication and it made it a squeaky racket. A regular car wash reduced the noise, but it came back after a few days. My theory is that if it is lubricated too much, it allows for movement between the rubber and the paint, causing noise. If it's nice and dry, there will be no rubbing. One solution is to use a specific strip of 3m tape that gets rid of the friction. From what I read, it has to be trimmed. Also, I was going to try to clean the rubber with a mild detergent to cut through the greasy lubricant and leave little residue. I never got the chance to try it though. The next step was to try babypowder.... no kidding. Good luck!

I had the same noise during the first two weeks of ownership! Seems to come from all four doors and sounded rubber-ish. It pretty much went away, hoping it doesn't come back!

Hmm... I hope a nice clean car wash takes care of that problem. It's been raining recently and the car is filthy....

Thanks a lot!

Love the car man! Did you have someone else do the coding for you? If so how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking.

Late night car wash. Pictures came out too dark so I guess I'll settle for some interior shot.

Just like you said I made sure to clean the doorsill and the rubber trims with water only. The noises magically disappeared!

I'm surprised they actually asked you if you want the car detailed for delivery.

Car looks amazing! Really makes me want to get an MP front lip - and of course the MPPSK but I doubt that's happening anytime soon. ~$5000 CAD is way out of the budget

Yeah I was surprised he asked before I kindly reminded him lol.

I was trying to decide between Varis front vs. MP front but just decided to go with MP for now. I might change it up to Varis later on when I save some more dough

MPPSK wasn't within my initial budget either but somehow it worked out with some compromise and convincing
