Considering the deadline for orders is only days away there seems to very few excellent deals around. Best I got was 14% off. Got more when bought my current car nearly 3 years ago.

All depends on how they calculated the drivetrain losses. BMW rate the engines out of the car on a test bench, so far more accurate.

They don't need to do mega deals, they know all the last ones are sold, or as good as sold.

Hi, newbie here. I got 18% off an F31 340i through carwow yesterday. £3500 BMW contribution plus just under £5k discount from the dealer. Presumably the tourings will be made a while longer? I have beaten myself up over whether to wait for the G20 but I think it will be a while until the G21 turns up, and then I’ll be paying full price and get crappy PCP APR so it will end up costing me a lot more.

The F31 doesn't end production until next June.

TRL's competetiveness varies from as good as it gets, to pretty mediocre in my experience. Presumably it depends upon how close they are to certain targets at the time.

Broker4cars currently has just over 25% off a 340i touring, and I expect you could do a little better (perhaps 27%) by shopping around:

http://www.broker4cars.co.uk/Buy/New...+5dr+Step+Auto

I expect discounts of 20%+ will be available on the G2x within weeks of launch if not before.

Hmmm, I understood TRL sold at fleet discount all the time - guess this is not the case.

Trl is just one of many brokers I don't know why people are so obsessed with his pricing as others can be cheaper. Seems a good guy to deal with but for us who know what we want lowest cost wins.

It’s not so much “obsessed with his pricing” but you can email him for a quote and he will give you lowest he can offer at the time. That is very easy to do to get a no nonsense quote. More often than not (apart from now it would seem) he is often one of the cheapest. And zero hassle.

Alternatively, you can go to several dealers, spend hours arguing the toss for a better deal - that you may or may not get.

I don’t doubt there are dealers that will beat TRL - but it’s finding them.

Exactly, you could go through all that effort to maybe save what, maybe £5-10pm, and then the dealer probably won't be anywhere near the service levels you'd receive from Tony!

Garage List
Am dreading the G20 M340i reveal.

- Pics come out. There's bits about it I don't like. Nah, not interested.
- Initial reviews. Fast but only a couple tenths more than the F30 version. Hardly worth it.
- More reviews. It's lighter, longer, more frugal and faster than the outgoing model. It's got some great new feature. The fuse is lit.
- G20 forum sees its first owners. Itch has turned into a scratch.
- Discounts come online. Man-maths calculator is dusted off.

With the impact of WTLP emissions regs on the supply of competing makes, I do not find pooer deals cf a few months ago a surprise.
