Thanks,
The dealership I use in Inverness (45 miles away), is currently moving to brand new purpose built premises. Mine will be one of the first hand overs in the new showroom.
They have a new dedicated, indoor, hand over place, and as a keen amateur photographer, I've already made arrangements to take my gear with me.
Hopefully I'll get some decent, sparklingly clean shots.

Let us know what freebee they throw in.

I was asked if I wanted anything from the BMW shop or let the sales girl surprise me!

So she surprised me with a BMW M-Sport umbrella.

Handover has been put back by a couple of days.
Originally I had arranged to pick up the car on Tuesday, but I have now agreed with the dealer to put it back until Friday.
The dealership is currently moving into new purpose built premises in Inverness and a couple of problems have arisen with the move, so they asked if we could make it Friday.
Actually Friday suits me better anyway.
I'll get some pics posted when I get it.

they had better double your freebee

It is understandable. A plush brand new surrounding will only add to the ambiance of the hand over of your new vehicle

OK, picked up my new 335i Luxury GT this morning.
The weather was awful, around 3 degrees and snow showers. So here's a couple of pictures taken quickly in the handover bay, too many bright lights and reflections.
I'll get some more, outdoor shots when the weather improves.

But it's a HATCHBACK!!!

Are the grille slats chrome? It appears so. I'd rather mine were. I'm not a fan of all things being black.

Thanks Bill, Pablo and Rapid.
Yes Bill, the grill slats are chrome. I think all the chrome trim, which comes with the Luxury, really stands out on this colour. The chrome looked good with Midnight Blue, but I think even more so with Mineral Grey.
Even the surround view cameras and the mudflaps all blend in nicely with this colour.
In my opinion of course

Congratulations. Good looking GT, I like the color. It is also a color that is quite easy to maintain, big plus to my opinion. After two grey cars (Space grey E91 and Mineral grey F31) my wife refused to have one more Therfore silver this time

Thanks tores, that's what I was hoping to hear !
I loved the Midnight blue of my previous GT, but it was a devil to keep clean.
I'm hoping this one will be much easier, especially after having it detailed and Gtechniq CS Black treated in a couple of weeks time.

I had that issue until I started using Menzerna Power Lock.

It still collects dust, but the dust wipes off with a microfiber towel. So do water spots after it rains. Mud rinses off without using soap. Best of all is when you apply it the rub out takes virtually no effort. I rub it out with paper towels, exposing a clean surface as soon as they load up with residue.

Never heard of Menzerna, but sound interesting. Where did you get it and what is the cost? Sounds too good to be true!

I just went out in a light drizzle, just driving at 60MPH beaded up the water and blew the car dry. It's like having a teflon car.
