Upgrade 2015 328d Rims

New to the BMW world with my recent purchase of a 2015 328d. It looks like the stock rims are 17" and I would like to go up at least to 18" rims. I am thinking of ordering a wheel/tire package online and I am wondering if replacing the stock setup is a simple swap.

I also noticed many folks are using different dimensions for front and back but I don't think my ride is currently setup this way. Should I be looking at using different dimensions or just keep them the same?

Much appreciated!

its a simple swap provided you get the proper widths, offsets and tire sizes. you may run staggered(different front and rear widths) or square(all 4 same) if you prefer being able to rotate the tires and not thinking about the slightly more complex(but not really...) staggered set up. i recommend ordering the wheels only, if possible, and getting the tires locally because tires, more than double, the shipping weight. however if money is no object then do it however you desire. what is your budget like?

I'm leaning towards just ordering the rims online and then taking those to a local Discount Tire for the tires and installation. I'm thinking the benefits of a squared setup is better for rotation and road hazard concerns. For the rims I am looking at around $200 per rim.

The rims I am looking at are the Advanti HY Hybris 18x8 but I am not sure about the bolt pattern (5x120?) and backspacing (5.87?).

the offset should be +35mm. tire size i'd run would be 245/40/18 or 235/45/18 however oem size of 225/45/18 is adequate as well.

I'm looking at the Beyern Spartan wheels and their 18x8.5 says it comes in a 30 offset, a 5x120 bolt pattern, and uses the 225/45/18 wheels... does that sound right?

225/45/18 fits but is stretched(20mm) on 8.5". again, i'd run 245/40/18 or 235/45/18 but you can do 225/45/18 stretched if you desire

also the front and rear wheel edge/lip may be poking very slightly with +30. actually maybe not, it will be right about flush

Okay, so it's the Beyern Spartan and the Continental Extreme Contact DWS06 in 235/45/R18...

Thanks again for the help!
