Hello all,
This is an offer I got from dealer in Maryland for 2013 335i Convertible, fully loaded.
Appreciate if you could let me know if I am in the right direction?
Here is the deal:
MSRP: $62800
Price after discount and BMW incentives: $56500 (I have not negotiated yet)
+ tax, tag, "fees" = $59500
10k miles/yr 36 months , first month $500 offvoucher.
0 down =$685
2000 down =$626
4000 down =$567
How does it look?
I don't know how they came up with this number, I don't have infor about Money factor, residual value, % , etc...
Please let me know what is a fair, good and best deal? what is the steal deal?
Thank you.

The dealer and I have come to an agreement on terms:
Invoice+MACO ($400) +Training ($180) +$500 profit
Acquisition fee: $725
base MF: 0.00127 + MSD

I think the above is reasonable, but the dealer is refusing to waive the $150 doc fee. Am I getting a good deal already and shouldn't worry too much about the doc fee?

Should I ask for extras (winter floor mats) in substitution of the fee or would that be pushing it?

There are 4 other dealers around my area and so far this one has the best terms.
Looks like a pretty awesome deal to me! My dealer's std doc fee is $398.

It is part of BMW incentives, most dealers that I visited add all numbers together when presenting the offer, but in fact this is $500 off your first payment given like a voucher. Fancy way to tell us we get $500 off!

I think it's a good deal. Appears to be 300-400 above invoice. I ran some numbers with following assumptions and monthly payment came out to $685.51:
65% residual and 0.00127 money factor.
Fees=$725 acquisition fee. no doc fee. ~100 for dmv fees.
Rebates: $1500 + $750 loyalty = $2250.
6% maryland tax on selling price capitalized.

You should go to BMWConfig.com and configure this car to get the proper invoice price. Ask your dealer for screenshot of lease worksheet to get the full breakdown.

Downloaded you app for the iPhone, great job. One question, why does the layout you have screen shot here look different then the actual app? Sorry to be a bit off topic. Great tool for those who are shopping.

Thanks for posting details! they gave me a "summery". Let me give you some more numbers see if makes sense.
Rebate $2250
Discount $4100
Other fees:
Acquisition fee $925
Doc fee $199
DMV, etc...
(all together $1252)
Tax 6%= $1642 (because I have a 2011 BMW buy out $34000) so:
Trade allowance: $31,500
Trade difference: $24917
Hence the balance of : $59500 again I didn't negotiate at all. I just needed info.
Is it more clear now? Pls let me know what would be the price point that dealer might ask me to leave the dealership! I'll do it today if they gave me my "good" deal!
I have bought many cars that I spent less than 30 minutes at dealerships and signed contracts, thinking I got a good deal, which for most part I did. But this time I want to go with education and know how with boxing gloves on... hahaha...

I just submitted version 1.2 to app store 5 mins ago. I'll work on iPad support next My goal is to create something that makes sense on iPad -- not just a super-sized version of the iPhone app.

Does anyone know if you can combine the loyalty cash ($750), Ultimate Driving Experience ($1k), and the BMWCCA rebates ($500)?

I was able to combine the Conquest and Driving Experience $ and since the BMWCCA is handled via a separate process I don't see why they all would not combine.

Hi,

Placed an order for 335i xDrive Sedan a little more than a week ago...negotiated the following lease:

Details/Options: Sport Line, Mineral Grey, Heated Seats, Nav, HK Stereo upgrade

Dealer: Tulley BMW, Nashua, NH
MSRP: $51,850.00
Invoice: $47,895.00
Sales Price: $48,325.00
Acquisition Fee: $725.00
Doc Fee: $199.00
Other Fees: $25.00 for 20 day plate
Rebates: $1,000.00 Ultimate Drive Event
Adjusted Cap Cost: $48,050.00
Residual: 64% 3yrs/12K miles (Value $33,184.00)
MF: .00127 base
Tax: 0%

As I mentioned, just placed the order for the car, expected delivery in Sept. Based on the above, I have estimated my OTD costs and payments below:

Due at signing:
(7) MSDs @ $550.00= $3,850.00 lowers MF to .00078
$701.00 Includes Doc Fee, 1st month payment, and 20 day plate.
Monthly payment: $477.00 est

Appreciate any thoughts/opinions....Thanks!

I would ask them for more details, including:

Money Factor (should be .00127 base)
Residual Value (should be 61%)
Acquisition Fee (most dealers try to get $925, but $725 is the real number)
Doc Fees
Other Fees (ask for details)
Taxes

With this information, you can check the numbers using this calculator http://www.leasetrader.com/car-lease-calculator/
