anyway, i'm having trust issue with them as in one of the maintenance (they asked to reprogram the air condition and they said it will take 6 hours), but the take the car for 2 days without informing me and i have to go there to get the car.

when i was there i also asked the guy in the show room about the maps and the new 2014 3xx models, and he told me the maps will not be available for 316 and 320 and it will only available for models 328 and up (because of a missing hardware they dont put in 316 and 320 and they will not do it)

so any one with 316 or 320 and have egypt maps and navigation?

i still need to do some changes as below
- change cic (or the champ) with nbh module
- change the front light
- add rear camera
- add front sensor
- change sound system

anyone did the above (where and how much)

also i need to know the best place to go clean my car and remove scratches ( i prefer it in maadi or nasr city)

for cleaning as moataz said go to Meguiars, the are very professional, normal cleaning cost EGP 75 (interior & exterior) takes about 1.5 hours. they are located in korba right across haris cafe and travco

as for the idrive update, yes u are right they only do it for 328& above. still didnt do the NBT retrofit myself. its a but expensive and i dont want to mess with the car now

Wow i am a bit excited to find Egyptians on bimmerpost

I am 23 yrs, Accountant and i am going to get my first bmw this week inshallah (316i f30)

As all of you guys, i am crazy with speed and tuning my car
and since 316 is, relatively, very slow and empty from inside regarding iDrive, Nav, steering wheel etc..
i was asking if there are any Codes, tuning etc.. i could do in the car which will not cost much as i am still a fresh graduate

Hello Omar & welcome on board and congratulation on your new baby, as Moataz said you came to the right place.

So today i was in Qatamya branch and saw the new 320i, they upgraded it and now it comes with the latest idrive with the touch control and it is priced EGP438K for the luxury model. which in turn affected all other models.

316i now starts 320k to 344k
320i: 394k to 445K
328i: 508K
335i: 540K

I just went to the website & found that they only offer luxury for 328i & sport line for 335i as for changes in the 328i they put the apps as standard but still not impressive for the price.

they said these are 2015 Cars and because of the Dollar and Low Supply of BMW cars, the price increased

Nope ya Sherif, it comes with the Normal Screen without Nav but it comes with Touch (Luxury and sport)

Hi Omar, after my previous post I decided to visit bavarian at alex road, I saw the new 320 there and sit inside for 30 mins and it comes now for both luxury and sport with the following additions:

Same idrive exactly like the 328 with exception of TV and I think bmw apps but not sure about the apps.

Speed limiter in addition to normal cruise control

Navigation

Big screen


Actually it became amazing car, still this comes at higher price
I think they did this due to the introduction of the new C class which is expected to debut in egypt with couple of months

well, there are some things like auto start/stop, windows cut safety, BC in speedometer, turn on the limit if you have the cruise control, code LED if you want to install LED turn signals, change BMW logo to M performance if you have the upgraded cluster and my favorite change the transmission to faster shifts like the one with pedals, a lot more if you have the CIC or NBT.

copy that update to a USB and put it in the car, then open settings go straight down you will find software update, do as instructed.
