There's nothing novel about this car. It can be reproduced at your BMW dealership with some Available parts from the catalogue.

I take this as another check mark for the 320's sport pkg. At only $1,300 you got the 704 M-sport suspension, steering wheel, seats, AND wheels that are also used on the new 435 ZHP.

In my opinion, I would've liked to see this ZHP include 15-20 more horses than you would get from the standard car w/ MPPK. That combined w/ it's LSD and reduce the weight by about 300lbs (lighter seats, remove some of the sound deadening material, CF roof, remove trunk and some interior trim) would make it a special car. Give it a treatment almost like the e46 CSL. The car as it is now feels more like a 435is.

So true about 335is, and yet they will make only 100 and command top dollar for uniqueness, so pointless.

As a ZHP owner, this offering was a major disappointment. The ZHP option was uniquely different. All this is is just another pre-canned ordering package.

The original ZHP had Alcantara wheels, Alcantara seats, short shifter, short 1st gear, aggressive cams, nice 18" rims, mtech-ii, tuned suspension, etc etc. All of which you couldn't order directly from the factory at build time. Plus it came in four doors manual.

This is a waste of the ZHP name. I was looking forward to another zhp.

They should have given this car the n55 tune from the upcoming M2. 365 hp. That would have at least made the dealer markup kinda worth it
