it was only exclusive because you got one early.....a 3 series in and of itself will never be exclusive.

None of the German cars are really that exclusive anymore if you live around Toronto. There are more BMW's, Audi's and MB's around here than any other car maybe the exception would be Toyota's.

Not bored at all. Quite the opposite.

For the first time after nearly a year, I had a good play with the Pro Nav and am now au fait with all its functions, at last. It's truly wonderful and really makes the car into a wunderkind. And, the HK is awesome.
And I love the 'Classic' red lighting which bathes the Coral Red Leather into a complimentary warm red glow.

I've fallen totally in love all over again with my fabulous F30 BMW 330d M Sport sDrive. Just love the way a RWD handles so beautifully and with a really smooth ride on even the worst roads. Simply amazing and such sophisticated fun.

Really interesting post... I've been thinking a lot about this lately and I've only had my F30 for 18 months. At first, I was absolutely thrilled...the upgraded styling, beautiful interior, and great gas mileage immediately won me over from my 09' E92. Now, I look at the car and I don't feel that excitement I always had from my BMWs. There is something about the car that doesn't seem right, although I do agree that it makes an excellent daily driver, which is why I always stick with a 3. Ultimately, I've been counting down my lease for months.... I hope the 4 or 6 series I get next will revitalize my love for the brand to replace my DD. At least I am blessed to have other toys...

It feels like a relatively basic, poorly built, noisy car. I still love the power and 8AT and great mileage.

I donno...when I was a kid, I remember BMW, Mercedes etc used to be sooooo exclusive. Not that I care what people think, but still, I'm paying a premium for exclusivity but it is not exclusive at all.

Maserati or Audi R8 here I come haha

Seems to be a ton of No-Line 328i's in LA. There is one 2013 M-Sport in my garage at work. For laughs I ran the VIN on the .ru decoder. Pretty dang loaded.

Someone really needs to step up and do a small block engine swap. That and a custom wide body kit would probably kill the boredom

When I get bored with a car I start looking for a new one. BMW's are nice no getting away from that but they are so common, at least where I live, after a while they become run of the mill.

So far the only car I have not been bored with is my Porsche. That car just keeps on giving and giving.

honestly even Porsche is gone in the same direction. Too many cheaper models. I see many many Porsche's here too. You can buy a brand new $56,000 Porsche upto a $200,000 porsche, 95% of ppl won't know the price diff.

But still, a porsche is a porsche, in many people's eyes even the boxster is like $100K car.

I just remember being a kid, whenever I saw a porsche, bmw or merc etc, they were pretty rare. Nowadays its just another 'thing' we own.

If I'm spending $100k+ on a car, I just want it to be more exclusive that's all.

Nothing is exclusive anymore...anyone can own anything, all they need is money...do what you want, with what you can afford...who cares about what other people think.

ITT: A lot of people buying (scratch that, mostly leasing) cars for the wrong reason.

Why in the world would I care if a car is exclusive or who else drives it? I buy cars because of how they look/drive/feel not because of how I will be perceived driving one.

The question by the OP was never going to get everyone to say "Hey, I am not bored after 1X months...."

The car I was least bored with and regret losing was my 1997 Alpina B8, I know that if I had it now which would make it 7 years, I would definitely not be bored. Same goes for my older 1995 M5. Two absolute legendary cars - you cant really compare them I suppose to a 328xi F31, but the passion those cars instilled is on another level.

I have had my 328xi since Sept, and am not bored with it and probably will not be bored for a while, but it does not invoke the same passion as some of my previously owned cars.

Every review still says the Megane RS is the better handling car and also faster for the same price.

I bought my 335 as a DD and winter beater. It serves well in both roles. I never expected it to be exciting.

Damn, that refrigerator I bought last year is not giving me that new refrigerator kick any more . . .

No offense to all the F30 owners but my dealer gave me a 335i xdrive while my car was getting serviced.

I had the car for about a week since I have a very good relationship with the service manager and I needed to drive quite a bit that week.

I was impressed with how well the all wheel drive system performed and I actually liked the N55 engine lol. What got me tired quickly was the steering. I was finding myself turning on the car and putting it in Sport+ right away and the biggest dissapointment was the HK system. I have the upgraded HK system in my 335is and it sounds so much better.
