interested in a jb+ and other mods for b58
Hi anyone living in SoCal or specifically Los Angeles with a jb+, cf spoiler, intake,and catted or catless downpipe for sale. Pm me with pics and descriptions. All of these parts must fit a F30 340i.

Car will run like garbage with those mods on 91 octane...
Even my car with MPPSk and JB4 on 93 octane is only barely tolerable in the way it drives (Map 1 in the winter map 6 2PSI in the summer).. Honestly the issue is the the computer does what ever it can to hinder driveability the moment the JB starts issue commands... one day its a beast - drives fine... very next day drives like garbage, even a decrease in performance. Very inconsistent... A DP will make everything seem far far worse with the throttle closures added.. If you look harder on the forums many have posted their feelings on DPs, JB+, JB4, etc. most will steer you away from what your proposing.. The new Flash tune different story - DP with Stage 2 tune - beast mode with driveability - I say go that route. Personally I would stay away from the JB+ in general - not many have had great success.. but I would preface all of this it depends on what you consider driveability... if you dont mind hesitations, stuttering, etc. then you may be happy for the occasion increase in acceleration - for me, I need both smoothness and acceleration.. |

Along with JB4 if you try to run Map 3 (+6PSI) and Map 5 (+6PSI + more), make sure you add some race concentrate/fuel/boosters or e85 and log. Post these logs on n54tech. Lots of trail and error. If you can skip the downpipe or look for a catted downpipe. We are stuck with crummy 91 octane. Map 1 works fine. Map 2 is soso. Map 3 and 5 get sketchy. Or like the gentlemen above me suggested, get the flash tune. Definitely the best decision. Just my 2 cents.

Driving your car off road and through massive bonfires will “ruin” your car. Installing a completely reversible piggyback tune will not “ruin” your car. Let’s keep it real.
