Dash replacement - what fits?
Hi guys,
I bought a crashed 2016 430i Convertible today. First Beamer in 10 years and as a German living in Australia it feels a bit like coming home Passenger airbag is blown so I'm in for a new dash. I'm trying to figure out if all 3 and 4-series dashes will fit (pre and post LCI). My F33 has the HUD so would it just be a matter of finding another F3x dash with the HUD cutout? Thanks heaps Uli |

Did you buy a salvage BMW? You can find the part number on this website, and look for a matching part number to ensure complete fitment. Good luck

Yeah mate, got a salvage vehicle from an auction place locally. Just can't figure out if the pre-LCI dashes with HUD are the same as the post-LCI. I tried checking part-numbers but every dash-colour has its own number which makes it hard to check general fitment.
So, if anyone else knows what fits it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks heaps guys |

Just bringing this to a close. All dashes will fit between the 3 and 4-series. You just have to make sure that, if you have a HUD, you need to buy a dash from a HUD-model (and vice-versa).
Other than that the only differences are obviously dash-colour and the material it's covered in (e.g leather dashes). The LCI models had an improved surface apparently but still everything fits cross-model. My '16 F33 is now rocking a'14 F30 dash ... straight swap. Happy days! Pete |
