I just replaced my center console got everything plugged in and the cup holder wont fit in, its too far back maybe an inch.
This car is fighting every step of the tan to black change haha

Honestly, the best advice I can give with stuff like this is to be patient, have a beer(s), take a break...try every angle you can...and consider whether maybe it goes into the console first (maybe) so it drops in correct orientation?

Haven't been into my console in the f30 at all...but I can bump this!

I still havent gotten it yet it pops in mostly but basically is off but an inch to line up with the screw holes and the bottom clips

That piece is really tough to get back in. I had to pretty much force it. I bent that aft pointed part into place and then snapped the clips in. You have to be very forceful. Is it the same cup holder you removed from the car?

Just checking .... that piece was changed on LCI models.

The one in the photo is LCI. As the two are so distinct, I think the OP knows the difference and is replacing an LCI for another LCI.

I swapped my orginal center console which was tan for a black one and used the same cupholder from the tan one the 2 center consoles looked to be exactly the same
