Australia/NZ EVO 2018-1 Navigation Map Update

Hi everyone
With download manager still down and BMW having trouble getting it back up we are unable to download the latest map update.

I contacted BMW Australia and they suggested that I get the local dealer to do the update as they have access to the map update.

I had my maps updated on Friday and all good. Version EVO 2018 - 1

Road Traffic Information works good.

Contact your local dealer if you want them to do it (and you have paid for map updates as part of connected drive).

Yeah you can see in the log it's failing to find the map update:

EVO 2018-1 is now able to be downloaded. Am doing mine as I type.

How big was your update mine says 3.9 GB I thought it would be bigger

Yup same.

All the maps to date have been no bigger than about 4gb

Downloaded and updated both my X3 and X5. Only difference I have noticed is the navigation command graphics on the HUD have been updated. I have an SLI emulator i bought off eBay installed in the X3 and the speed limit sign works as before the upgrade as I vaguely remember some forum member saying it stopped working after a map update.

Took my X3 up to Townsville for a service. Noticed there are now 3D images of some of the buildings in the city centre and the main Bruce Highway bypass recently built is now included in the new mapset
