I would love to wash my car if it weren’t for consecutive days of thunderstorms.

Lol, so the truth finally comes out. Nice job, kid, you really showed me. Of course, someone who has been "building motors their whole life" would probably know that you don't typically see/feel the benefit of an intake mod until you've opened up the exhaust as well. But I'm sure I'm just telling you more things you already know.

Try not to get any speeding tickets on your way home now that you've added all that extra power under your hood.

Washed and waxed...... and spent the better part of the day removing white line paint. In PA, they give you little warning to avoid it.

This has been terrible weather wise! I was in the U.K in June/ July and didn't see a drop of rain for 12 days... Philip burbs... drowning in the downpours!

Yesterday I purchased the “basic” OEM rubber floor mats, and replaced the first aid kit that the original owner took out of the car.

My dealership gives $5 to the American Red Cross for every kit sold.

Refinished steering wheel

Just had my faded steering wheel leather refinished by a company called Fibrenew. It came out great the steering wheel looks brand new. Here are some before and after pics.

I coded the construction safety guy out in front of my building 2011 535ix couple of days ago... he had the luxury model so I programmed the transmission for him also... next day he told me he couldn't believe the difference... said it was like a totally new car to him.... ..... Also said he bought the car basically new and just hit 100,000 miles on it and never had a problem with it.... nice to hear....

I replaced my center armrest and shift boot with the alcantara M-performance versions. Now they match my newly recovered wheel (by Coby Wheel). I did the carbon wrapping on the shifter/iDrive/wheel trim bits (but I plan to redo them soon so that my patterns are consistent).

For anyone wondering (and to answer a question I asked in a different thread): The M-Performance armrest and e-brake/boot will fit the 435i. The spec sheets only indicate that they are meant for the M3/M4, so I wasn't sure if they would fit.

Also--the alcantara color used for these items is very close to the black color used by Coby. I was worried about them looking too gray compared to the wheel, but they match pretty well.

2) Cleaned the leathers and treated them again with Permagard product
3) Cleaned the plastics and treaded with Permagard
4) Tomorrow changing the Bridgestone RF rear tires to Michelin Sport 4S

Installed BlackVue DR900S-2CH 4K Dash Cam using PMP. Pretty straight forward diy, but took some time to hide all of the wires.
