Great stuff, gents. Thank you!

I'm looking for a bit more throatier, sports car sound to the car without being obnoxious. Is resonator/muffler delete the lest expensive way to achieve this?

If you're interested in power gains as well, you should look into a catless downpipe but you will throw a CEL without a tune. Highflow cats that won't throw a CEL (e.g. Fabspeed) will set you back over a grand.

If you're interested in strictly sound, you may want to start with a muffler delete. Removing both could produce an incredibly raspy sound.

Congrats on the sweet ride. I'd enjoy the car stock for the first couple of months. This will give you time to think about mods, because they will have their pros and cons.
There's a detailing section in this forum if you're really looking to get in deep. Personally I use AMMO NYC products. It's truly top shelf products. Before you start buying washing and detailing products it's a good idea to check out the proper ways of cleaning. Many people do a half ass job and skip steps. Which kills the vibrant paint after a while.

Thank you and...completely agreed. I am careful with my detailing regimen and it's getting better.

Sorry for the hi-jack, OP - but this info falls in the range of your original question somewhat.

It's not cheap. I bought my car as CPO and the previous owner had the entire front-end covered- dealer charged him $2K!

I had to get the hood re-done after a large tree branch fell on it while I was driving, didn't make a dent, but the film definitely saved my paint - hood film replacement was $450.

Call around - get a few estimates, I saw a range in price across 4 different installers.

Regarding some performance stuff, what about changing out the air filter to something better? What will that do and any suggestions on what to swap to?

At this time, I’m considering the following:
1. Resonator delete
2. Better air filter
3. Ceramic coat

I figure these are pretty wise on a mere $200 investment.

Input and other suggestions appreciated

Don’t waste your money on a non-OEM air filter unless you’re just doing it for a different induction sound.

Ceramic coating is pretty awesome if you want to cut down on the maintenance required to keep your finish looking great.

Really just cosmetic mods and any post cat exhaust will work without voiding warranty.

As for paint care, 2 bucket method with grit guards, microfiber mit and PH neutral soap since it's black. If you have a ton of swirl marks already ( with it being a used car) and plan on having a paint correction done, the above is the way to really limit getting them back.

Nice car, good luck!

Looking to upgrade to the CST Turbo intake kit and do a resonator delete to start my mods.

But what about the better flow? How is the engine supposed to breath with that paper filter? /s
