F36 reverse led lights

Does anyone on here know how to remove the reverse lights on an F36. Can't find info anywhere and want to change my reverse lights to LEDS

You can find the instructions in the onboard owners manual, but the process is tricky - or at least I thought it was.

On the inside of the lift gate, you pop off the plastic piece (one on each side) that covers the bulb housing.

The tricky part is getting the housing out. There's 2 clips that you have to pry carefully and then the bulb housing slides straight out, which have both the inner brake bulbs and the reverse bulbs.

do not be afraid, it is a bit difficult to remove them, but they turn out fine
