Transfer Case/Diff Fluid Change Intervals

Hey everyone, what is the mileage interval for the transfer case fluid change and also for the front and rear diff's. In addition, my BMW dealer told me not to ever change the fluid but they did say if I want it done, they could do it. Is it worth it? Does it "open a can of worms?" I'm at 36,000 miles so I'm not close to anything transmission related for service; I just wanted some documentation for a later date. Thanks.

Rear differential has been lifetime for about 20 yrs. In the 1980's it was 30k miles but lubricants were different.
