Would there be any way of DTUK tweaking this for a 640d? Same engine so wonder if it would be a simple solution

What year is your 640d?

My understanding is that upto 2017 your fine, with later just needing a flash to update the module. Simon at DTUK I am sure will sort this for a low cost

Mine is a 2018 model but I wasn’t aware of any changes to the engine from 2017 to 2028

How easy is it to fit one of these?

Reliability? Economy?

I presume everything is well within tolerance

Easy enough to fit, doesn't increase anything to dangerous levels. Economy is a myth in my opinion it increases power and you use more fuel.

Some say it means you can drive with less throttle but in reality I have never found fuel is reduced

Had no issues with it on both 335 and 435d, shed loads more torque...0-60 times down to 4 secs
