F30 335i Logs - Stuttering, Rough Idle, Power loss

Hey all,

I'm pretty sure I know the gist of what's wrong (big ass boost leak), but I wanted to get some other eyes on it if possible just to verify. I somewhat recently installed the charge pipe, so that's my first go-to on the list to inspect as I didn't have issues before. It's due for spark plugs and coils, and I have some NGKs on the way.

Car:
  • 2014 335i xDrive, Auto 8-spd, 79k miles
  • Catless DP
  • VSRF Charge Pipe
  • BM3 Stage 2 93oct
  • xHP Transmission flash

Issues:
  • Rough idle
  • Occasionally dies at idle
  • Occasionally dies at stops
  • Sluggish power
  • Extreme stutter at ~1.5k-2k RPM, semi-regularly. It will essentially have no power unless I either mash the pedal down, or completely let off and try again.

Logs:

There are two logs, the first is a slimmed down easier to read version and the other is the full logs. You can switch between them at the top left of the graph.

Things I noticed in the logs:
  • Huge deviance in boost target vs boost actual (MAP in the logs)
  • Handful of knocks
  • Timing corrections (due to knocks?)

Anything else look out of place to a more trained eye?

The part throttle stuff doesn't tell you much. Do a wot pull.. 2k up to at least 6.5k in 3rd or 4th.. or both. The deviation you're seeing there is normal btw.. means nothing. Part throttle always has knock and timing changes.. normal

I had a stumble issue at idle and it was bad under light throttle below 3k.. was a spark plug that was physically broken.. it can be so many things.

Yup need WOT logs. But if you installed a CP and the issue wasnt there before... check that first.
