Surrey rolling road day

I was thinking that a set of car scales would be good to have on hand too... then we can also nail down power/weight ratios too!

Anybody have a set?

Would loved to have brought a stock 435i along, but away on holiday. Wouldn't have been anywhere close on power outputs but could have provided a relaxation lounge with a wonderful sound stage to recover from all those clackety diesels.

Too specialist for me Tengo

With a few people now interested in the Steinbauer tuning box it would be nice to get Mcdokika to run his 335d with the box switched off/on(we fitted an inline switch) for a true hp gain on the same car , not sure if anyone else had a switch fitted to their boxes

The local tip has a weigh-bridge but not sure they let us use it

besides, I'm not dieting for anyone.

teaston has one but he doesn't seem inclined to come all the way from the sticks for it unfortunately.

I emailed eco tune with a load of questions about expected impact on mpg and any effects on running outside the drivetrain tolerances but they never replied. Will wait on the results to see whether i should go back to them, I hate it when people don't reply even if it's a simple we will reply shortly

it would be nice to see you guys test the Steinbauer box on default settings and turned up setting to see what the margin actually is too

Unusual of Ecotune not to reply might be easier to get the information you want over the phone, ask for Stan(technical) as he will run through every question you have
