Slightly off topic and thread but what are the chances of a dealership allowing an extended test drive of an M3? For me the ride issue would be the only negative, I would need to see how it was on my commute for example and with kids in.
Is this reasonable or would likelihood be for an M car this wouldn't happen?

Ask. A lot depends on how good a relationship you have with them as well as how good the dealer is.
One local dealer was rubbish for me, even though I had a 135i from them & was in my M135i when asking for an extended go in the demo M3 they had when I was considering one. They were as bad when I was after the M135i 2 years earlier. A dealer nearby work on the other hand allowed me 24hours in a M135i & the same in a M3. Guess who got my business on the M135? |

I've tried not to bite, but must admit these offers are bloody amazing for the right person!
Wish I were in the position that of the December last year when I put my order, however, as I am really happy with my Tourer, I shall keep my fingers crossed for someone on this forum to get the m3 and post lots of pictures! Ideally the same deals will come up in two years time, but with a lower APR

Nothing exciting I'm afraid. The missus said I could have the car if she could choose the colour.
So its Sapphire Black with black leather - again! Wouldnt have minded the Sakhir orange seats, but the missus was not keen.

Bloody knackered!!! Ok spec etc: Black outside/inside Competition package M-DCT transmission reverse assist camera Sun Pro Glass HK Sound Carbon fibre dash trim Adaptive lighting/high beam assist Seat heating, rear Extended storage Speed Limit display List price around £64.5K Deposit £7710 and £600 per month for 48 months on 8K miles per annum Bear in mind that deposit has about £1500 of negative from my 335d. No brainer if you really want one. Tony is a top bloke to deal with, as many have said on here before. Also he is moving to Heathrow from April so that closer to me for the pick up. Should be built end of May/early June.

Interesting, must ask him about that - due to collect my car hopefully end April, and Heathrow closer for me too - but would expect it needs to be fulfilled by the selling dealership?

One things for sure, I won't be buying MPSS tyres for mine anymore, save myself £700. I'll make the current ones last.
