Mhd stage 2 - peak 24.5 psi too high?

Hi all

I hit 24.5 peak psi today when I had my car in sports plus, sport shift, and my pedalbox on race mode.

I did the same without my pedalbox on and it hit 23.8 psi.

Are these numbers too high for stage 2 on 93 octane with stock turbo?

If so what should I do?

Thx

That seems crazy out of range. Most I've seen on stock turbo is like 20-21 and even that is pushing it and out of the efficiency zone.

Side note, I had to look up what a pedal box is. Such a weird thing to have...

My car does 15-16 psi with the ots maps, so I would definitely say it’s way out of range. I’ve never seen much more than 21 psi on custom tunes and a healthy amount of ethanol for the stock turbo

21psi is probably the absolute most you want to run. BM3 Stage 2+ E30 maps target 19psi and only for mid-range.

What does your PSI read at idle?

Seems really high, but it it does depend on a boat load of parameters. If it's cooler/humid, you need less boost to get the same power. Hotter / dry, more boost.

Some days when it's cool, I'm peaking at 17PSI on BM S2, when it's hotter, 21PSI.

Came to say this. If you're just using a peak recall feature on one of the gauges, it's not an accurate representation of what's happening at WOT.

the higher shift spikes because of rpm dropping when shifting and a spinning turbo
in the end you see the effect of throttle closure when you go off the pedal
and you need to log in dsc off to run your map unrestricted
