Gotta give some love here for the guys with Trivium (one of my all time favourite bands) and Slipknot. That's pretty much what my HK gets the whole time and yes especially those songs that are heavy on the drums sound awesome.

Had some Knopfler goodness belting out on my way to the office this morning. The logic 7 had me picking up on the small details in the tracks, usually I only get that on the home system

I have around 8,500 tracks playing on random from my iPhone via USB (so probably not the best quality as a source) and I'm amazed (good and bad) by the quality if the engineering on some tracks. Production is pretty variable by artist and album, but The Alan Parsons Project output is always immaculately engineered (probably not surprising as he engineered Dark Side of the Moon before starting his own band!).

You are .. I'm 46 and it's something my Mom used to make my Dad play in the car back in the 80s when we all went out Somewhere. Bruce Springsteen was another one

52... Not a Bruce fan but love the clarity of the guitar and drums of the Dire Straights album through HK, and it's one of my favourite albums too.

Anything that's loud enough to not be able to hear the wife.

Up tempo : Lots of Groove Armada, Chemical Bothers, Underworld, Oasis, and chuck in some Prodigy for a bit of mental.

To relax : Ben Howard, Paolo Nutini, Air, Coldplay, Snow Patrol.
