Hi guys, this is my first time data logging and not to sure what’s good or bad. Would love some feedback on my log. Thanks!

Details: I have a 16 340i 8at rwd with about 55k miles and live in CA. I decided to run E30 and data logs for the first time. Used an e85 test kit and plugged in my number to an e85calulator app and got a mixture for E30. Using 91 oct in CA mixed with e85. Did 4th gear pull from 2500rpm to redline. Only did 1 log for now. The data log is a little long, just shorten it to where I did my pull. I was too busy trying to slow down and not die on the streets lol.

Tried some research on what to look for and the here are my main concerns/things I was looking at:

IGNITION TIMING - looked pretty good, mostly the same numbers across the pull.

HPFP: not sure if that’s within a normal range to be in but it was fluctuating a little. Maybe it’s being overworked ? Not too sure but wasn’t even.

BOOST: this is what really worried me the most. It says target boost is 31psi… and my MAP was hitting right around there. Nice to know my car is getting to target, but 31psi sounds dangerous and not real. I would love some input on this please!!

MODS:

- Dinan inlet and semi open intake
- xHp stage 3 tune
- Bm3 stage 1 E30 tune v2.3
- Dinan midpipe

Everything else is stock - spark plugs, coils, injectors, turbo, charge pipe etc.

The boost is really my main concern and worried that it’s pushing over 30psi on a stock B58 turbo. PLEASE HELP

I could be wrong, but it loks like its taking ambient pressure into account, when you look at the area where you're completely off throttle, it says boost is 14 psi, which is ambient pressure. I imagine you're actually at 17 psi, not 31

This would make more sense. I don’t think BM3 or any OTS maps would push 30+ psi. Thank you for your input!

Sorry new to data logs, what’s the difference ?

Now I know to subtract 1 bar from that reading which puts me around ~ 17lbs of boost.
