I honestly am still stuck at stun mode, around 23 PSI. Really want 25/26 for kill mode.

Load Actual at 228 exceeds Load Target of 219 and at 4945 RPM (the next data point) boost overshoots target of 22.4 PSI, hitting 24.9 PSI, throttle closure and WGDC reducing from 100 to 75. I think the torque limiter activated because WGDC was still at 100% when load exceeded target. An interesting observation looking at your logs, it seems like the Dorch Stage 2 has an internal pressure relief valve that activates around 3500 PSI, similar to the stock HPFP, because between 5600 - 6100 RPM in Kickdown#1 the rail pressure hits and holds 3585 PSI. It's good to know it's got the same protection for your injectors as the stock HPFP. I don't think there's any evidence of gearbox/TCU intervention, looks to be all DME and xHP is doing it's job. There's a little bit of lag from the Pure800, about 1 second from the time you go 100% accelerator car changes from 4th to 2nd RPM goes to about 3000 in 2nd and boost only comes to the party after 4200 RPM. Wedge may be able to assist spool by retarding timing? MHD in their OTS maps have retarded timing, even negative, during spool up since V3 and improved stock spool by maybe 200 RPM.

Surprised this thread doesnt get more attention. Mapped my car to BM3 2+ and XHP st3 on basic settings, tried to launch twice and managed a 3.69 0-100 (3.54 0-60 mph). Not too bad, will be improved hopefully when i adjust the settings.

Honestly I'm still focused on the engine tuning side of things and making sure things are running strong and reliably on that front before spending a lot of time working on launches etc. Just received my dragy this week so I will probably start fiddling with it soon.

Setting it at 400Nm will almost always grip on 245 wide Michelin PS4 tyres for a LCI M135i on MHD Stage 2+ 98RON. 1st gear I've left alone since I'm running always launch from 2nd gear. 3rd gear always seems to hook up, even with ~600Nm+ at the clutch; the RWD preset for 720Nm is never reached anyway, so the limiting factor seems to be 2nd gear slip for me at least. Being on a prepped surface like Willowbank will probably let you use higher 2nd gear torque limits (Sticky Tyres preset?). Just trying to see what torque limit values you might've set for street use. |

Honestly I'm struggling with launch. I've been to the dragstrip twice and done some back road launches and my times in auto with LC enabled are WAY slower than doing a manual brake boost launch and shifting manually. Like, mid 12's vs mid 11's on the quarter.
I have my LC moved up to +15% and like, +5% torque scaling after launch. Everything just seems softer in auto mode.

I seem to be losing my transmission on the 2-3 shift. After many launches with my xdrive w bm3 stage2+ and xHP. I've heard a siren noise coming from the tranny and it won't go into 3rd. I have many logs.

Has anyone long termed / launched with xHP at +40% consistently?
I had a B48 and have been launching with +40% sliders and am a bit worried as there is a warning for stress on AWD. Curious if any B58s had noticed any stress in chassis or issues |

Drag Mode - anyone? I tried it - pretty crazy and will definitely get the job done, but not very refined like the DCT torque punch (hoped it would be like that).

Anybody still read this thread? New(ish) to the platform. I could really use some advice/help with the XHP. I have it on stock settings and I’m not very happy with it. I feel like I hit 4th gear before even passing an intersection from a red light on medium acceleration.

Any idea why my boost would only be 2.1 psi before launch? xDrive 440 GC with MHD stage 2, high flow DP, intake, and xHP stage 3 with LC set to 15% for both settings. I get lag when I let go of the brake and then it kicks in after a delay. This was 4.14 0-60 and should be quicker I would think. |
