Thinkware 800 Pro - Extend hardwire cable
Hi Everyone,
I bought the F800 pro off Amazon and the hardwire cable is too short. I'm a complete novice, but have seen videos on youtube on how to install to the fuse box in the boot and feel comfortable in doing this. I need to extend the provided hardwire kit. Can anyone tell me what i need to buy to extend the 3 wires and also how to do this? Thanks in advance |

I have an f800 pro and the hardwire cable is enough to run from the trunk fuse box with some to spare weird that yours is not enough. It should be well over 10 feet. In any case, you can just splice the wires and use crimp connectors or solder. You'll like the f800 pro, did you get the one or two channel?

im_an_alien Thanks for taking the time to reply.
I've got the two channel version. My cable is way too short. I read online, that for some reason they decide to shorten the cable. When it comes to splicing and crimping mine, Im assuing it will be ok to do before those fuse boxes on the red and yellow cable? https://photos.app.goo.gl/CREkyUgG1QDiujDw7 Last edited by Shooter999; 11-28-2021 at 08:46 AM.. Check out blackboxmycar.com. I found this but I recommended you verify with their customer support before buying:
