Are OTS burbles bad?

Hey guys! I have a stock 320i running bootmod3 stage 1. I don't want to mess around with the settings as I want to keep everything normal. My burble setting is set to OTS. Will this damage my downpipe or even engine? I figured that if it's OTS, pro tuning freaks made it only burble to a safe amount? Idk.

What do you guys recommend? Do you guys change the setting from OTS to OEM? I know the car before didn't burble so I assume OEM will have no burble. I'm unable to upgrade to a catless downpipe due to strict emissions laws here. Otherwise I would've done it already!

Thank you!

Burbles can be set from OEM, OTS and custom.

Custom the maximum values for cat stock are:

Agg 5.6 and duration 2 sec

everything you do from then on if it can harm, the rest you do not have to worry about.

I have Stock Cat and I execute:

Comfort "Aggresion" 1.1 sec and agg 2.3
Sport "Aggresion Sport" 1.3 sec and Agg 5.6

I have 2 years with this configuration and no problem

My last map update for ots s1 is untouched. Just flash the way it came from PTF. The burble is loud and got few pops...from the old map. I don't know if it's bad but I like it. I just manually shift up to avoid pops.

I hate to ask this but did you actually visually check the cat by removing it. Or are you just guessing.

I might add that the drop down config for burble: OTS, OEM, ORIGINAL and Custom.

OTS actually have less burble that untouched map
OEM of course is no burble at all
ORIGINAL is like the untouched map burble. Has more burble than OTS
Custom is custom...lol

I loaded all of them back when the Map v4.3

My ears heard otherwise. You could say the original could be the settings of the untouched(fresh downloaded) ots map from PTF.
