I broke the tab on key fob trying change battery and it won't hold key tight now, I have to hand car back soon. I have a used fob that the back side would work. Can these fobs be taken apart so I can change the back half ?

Literally anything can be taken apart.

The question is can you take it apart and change the back half?

That’s a question only you can answer as there is no DIY.

Probably. I've seen empty fobs sold on Amazon and EBay.
