From Canada? I'm FBO and I think 93 and 94 (10% ethanol) run noticeable smoother (better timing) and seems to have more power compared to 91.

I've tried petro canada 94 before but typically run only shell 91. hard to explain exactly, but both seemed to have their own pros and cons. overall the ethanol-free one ran smoother and seemed to allow for a more natural power delivery.

I vote ethanol-free, especially since it is better for your fuel system. considering BMW's don't like low quality north american fuel, you should only be running ethanol -free.

just try a tank of both, report MPG's and note for yourself which one you think feels better.

I ran primarily 94 100% and some 91 100% for a year, then switched to 93 w/Ethanol and found no difference in MPG, Performance or otherwise (N55).
