Hi guys - by any chance do we have any BMW techs on here? Or does anyone happen to know if there is an f32 equivalent of service bulletin "SI B26 02 14" which is for F8x 👍

This bulletin was for the ebrake cable housing rattling against the driveshaft, the service bulletin is for f8x but i have the same issue on my f32...

I don’t think so. But there isn’t much of interest in that bulletin. It basically says “bend the tube to assure 10mm clearance between it and the driveshaft.” Were you hoping for a TSB number to get an easy warranty fix?

Early F8x cars had a carbon fiber driveshaft which had a larger diameter than the steel one in your F32. The smaller diameter on the non-M cars makes it more likely that adequate clearance to the parking brake cable tube is maintained, and less likely that this problem will be experienced.

If you are indeed experiencing it, it’ll probably be obvious from scrape marks on the driveshaft, and the bend-it fix ought to be obvious as well.
