Speaking for him here, but it doesn't matter if you're stacking a piggyback. OTS stg. 2 requires a catless/high flow downpipe and intercooler.

Dinan s4 requires a fmic. But he told me he took out his dp. So that makes sense.

Ok, guess I misinterpreted your question. I thought you were asking whether stacking alone allows stage 2 to be run, to which the answer is no. Gotcha now though.

Update:

We chose to split the N20 OTS maps further and divided them based on whether its the MEVD1729 (older DME) or MEVD172P (newer DME). N2x has the most variants so far we've seen given all the permutations of DMEs, wastegate control (pneumatic and electronic) as well as engine compression types (higher compression on the 20i models). There are currently more N2x OTS maps than probably all others put together, or very close!

We're in the process of a few more updates on the MEVD172-9 OTS maps, should be all up and live in the next hour or so

I'm sure you're not, but yours may not be much different than the 9 and if it is, you guys may receive a slightly different tune customized for the 4. That's definitely an older DME for this series. Might be the first.

anyone on MEVD172P? N20 EWG-L

i am on 93 stg2 AGG but do have some idling issue when the ride coming to stop and after engine start up, the idling will be slight irratic and need to give it some gas...

i have flash in 91 stg2 AGG, it didnt have this issue.
and the burble seem more louder...i find the drive seem better.

those having some issue can give this a try....

What are you gapped at? Idling issues typically come from that. I'm on P, but don't have access to 93. Running Stage 2 91 as well with no issues.

That's pretty fair. Maybe submit a ticket to see if it's a fueling issue or something that needs a very slight tweak for your version on the P.

Hey guys, interested in doing a tune and catless downpipe on my N20 soon. I was debating between JB4 and bootmod3 Stage 2 93. Buddy of mine is seeing about 290whp and 320+ torque with JB4 + DP. Does anyone have dyno numbers for BM3 ST2 93? The stage 1 numbers seem to be around 250-260 whp and torque under 300, which is a fair bit below the JB4 numbers.

For Stage 2 93, a little over 300whp. I'll have to track down the Dyno for that one.

Hey guys,

Bought bootmod3 today, have it running stage 1 93 oct on my n26 328xi. Was wondering if someone could shed light on the options available under "Config" when at the flash screen. I am honestly new to this and would love to understand what the options do with the available choices before I go fiddling.
