4 series concept

To me it looks like a BMW had sex with a Alpha Romeo.

The grill is getting a bit too far away from classic BMW for my tastes.

Again... this is an opinion so it is a bit like a belly button as everyone has one.

It definitely won't look like that, because it's a bit too concept-y and almost laughable.

Hopefully...

The grill and front bumper will never pass pedestrian safety standards, so it'll be much different. I like the back end and the mirrors, though. Honestly, I really kinda like it, except for the gigantic grill that will change drastically.

Getting past the color of this concept, which for me gives it a Mazda vibe, there some exciting aspects of it. I also like the back and side profiles.

We can't decide whether the Concept 4's grille looks more like a huge waffle iron or a sea lamprey's mouth, but either way, it's intense. However, recent spy photos of a production 4-series coupe undergoing tests on the Nürburgring indicate that the production version's styling will be toned down somewhat from that of the dramatic show car—and that probably includes the grille.

It reminds me of the Stutz Blackhawk, an abomination from the early seventies that slapped an expensive Italian-made body on a Pontiac Grand Prix platform. Adjusted for inflation, it sold for $120-$150K.

It was the seventies. Some people wanted pimpmobiles but didn't know how to build their own.

You got your Superfly car...

But my favorite was the one Isaac Hayes drove in Escape from New York. Looks like he ran over Liberace's piano.

I like the tail lights but the grill looks like 2 dorm room air conditioners.

Maybe a confessional in a Catholic church.

SIGNIFICANTLY better than the G20!! I actually like it very much (except for the huge grill). Aggressive look, smooth lines, sexy ass... what else can you ask for?
G20 looks like the concept's grandma in comparison!
And I am very pleased I am gonna see the Concept live in Frankfurt next week.

I hope much of it makes it through to production. With smaller kidneys please, but the rest is fantastic

I think it looks great overall, except that grille which is straight out of a horror movie...

1. Grill needs to be about 1/2 the size

2. Not sure how I feel about no covers on the headlights. That's going to be some expensive rock chips to fix when they take out your lights...

Aside from that, looks ok I guess. Keeping a close eye on it.

Hopefully...
There are different stages of concepts. This is a very late concept that should be very close to what the actual car looks like. If you don't believe me, here is the "concept" F32 4 series in 2012. Other than the front bumper fake vents, handles, wheels, and wing mirrors, it is pretty much exactly what the production version looks like.

I visited the Frankfurt IAA yesterday and I must say - the 4 Concept was by far the most beautiful and attractive car on display!!!! No wonder it was difficult to even get to it - a lot of people just standing around it and watching it turn!

No interior to be seen, but apart from the XXL grills, it is a fantastic design!

The 8 GC was also there. While I like the car a lot as well (it is a piece of luxury!), I was more blown away by the 4 Concept. Hope it makes it through to production!

If an Alfa-Romeo did have sex with a BMW, I think their offspring will look better than that.

This is more like BMW had sex with Morgan Aero 8
