and actually, looking at car #8 compared to #4 there is a big difference! both are FBO/similar mods...why the disparity?

Is there any issue being FBO with stage 2 EWG using stock fuel pump and 93/85? Eventually I'll do LPFP and PI but I'd like to not blow my wad all at once if I don't have to.

Not at all. I think there are some cars in the first post like that PS2 with stock fueling and some E. Heck I will start like that also just ps2 + 93/e40

When i asked pure about that recommended atleast getting a upgraded lpfp. Adding pi on top of that will allow full e85 and lots of boost i believe.

I asked Pure about this and they said no, but new pump and PI will definetly give you more power.
You can see in this post there are cars running stock fuel system and no meth.
I'm going to start like that with E30

Does it make sense to upgrade to pure stage 2 without fueling upgrade, 93 pump gas and no JB4, just Bootmod3 flash? How about turbo lag with this setup?

Got part of the answer with car #4 I think which is about where I am now (minus BM3 that is scheduled for later this year).

My outstanding question: should I expect increased turbo lag with this kind of setup?

Got part of the answer with car #4 I think which is about where I am now (minus BM3 that is scheduled for later this year).

My outstanding question: should I expect increased turbo lag with this kind of setup?
From my experience, the lag is significant. But many think it's worth it.

I'm in no position to say that. It's to me not even a matter of how much bottom end I'm willing to trade for top end. PS2 is the kind of power I'll pursue with some other platform at some point.

One thing for sure - take the plunge and there is no going back.
