Cheapest I could find was from bmwofnewton on eBay, it was $194 before taxes & fees. Still crazy to me to spend that much money on a shift knob, but definitely worth it since it's the one part of the car you physically touch and use nonstop.

Fit check... not sure... whether to install or forget the idea. Was a birthday present! Could do with a darker paint on the car!

Black on white is generally a fantastic combination due to the contrast!
What are they however and how are they attached?
Too many examples for spukest and splitters detaching on the motorway with the potential
to cause serious damage to others...

They screw in underneath. I could use 3M tape as well on the top. A little disappointed on the fit though.

Screw in existing holes or new holes are drilled!?
The fit (and look) appears decent on the photos.

Most of the current screws line up. A couple are off though.

Agree it looks 'ok'. There's a decent gap and the drivers side (US) doesn't angle correctly.

I see what you mean now. At least the gap. Could be the panel behind though?

Where are those from and are they actual CF?

MCSD, yeah the fitment looks pretty atrocious there. Ebay specials? Chinese made for sure!

I debadged the X-drive emblem, 330i chrome emblems, and cleaned up the moniker with gloss black 330ix badging. Getting rid of all the chrome bit by bit!

Yes they are CF Skyhigh I've already started a return. I think the white really makes it stand out more. A darker colour would help! I would get a splitter but my driveway apron is too steep and done want to deal with it!

The smoked emblem looks great. I totally rebadged but that looks cool. Tempting! Was alignment easy?

I've been looking for a simple lip as well myself but nothing has caught my attention yet. Glad you are able to return them!

Alignment was pretty easy, using masking tape and marking the exact locations of the factory bits. If you're OCD like me, you can also measure out the spacing to a "T" with a digital caliper.

The double-sided tape that came with the gloss black emblems were garbage so I had to do some fiddling with the appropriate 3M adhesive tape.

I'm sorry that sucks - I was just in that position - hope you get a diminished value claim after its fixed as well. Our cars really are magnates for accidents it seems - what kind of car hit you?

Finally got around to washing the car and taking some pictures. Combination of Eibach front/M3 ZCP rear springs + ZCP bumpstops installed a couple weeks ago and CF trim from roll_the_dice installed last week. Also changed the Start/Stop button and added some shift extenders bc I didn't really like the way the stock paddle shifters felt. Hope you guys enjoy

Old beat up Toyota Yaris. Guy appeared to be on something or maybe had some issues going on.

Adjuster was supposed to call by 5pm today. No call, I have a ton of questions for him as regular customer service can't give any real details.

Installed Koni yellow rear shocks along with F80 bumpstops and new shock mounts/hardware yesterday to pair with the H&R Sports I've had on for a couple of years. Pretty easy install overall. After about a day of driving, I'd say the difference is noticeable. Not too surprising though as I'm at 118k+ miles on stock dampers. I'm pretty sure they were shot. The difference is enough that I'm now considering going to full coil overs instead of just getting matching front struts. Just not sure I want to spend that much on a car with over 118k miles that is my daily and has never been on a track.

Boring, but very much needed.

4-wheel alignment (new tires - drives much better now!)

Added open-pore M Performance carbon interior trim: steering wheel surround, door handle pulls, sport shifter, shifter surround, handbrake handle, and idrive surround.

I didn't install the dash (looking for options there). And removed any Alcantara bits as I don't love the look.

Installed blackline euro LCI tail lights and performed the requisite coding. Looks phenomenal although the inner lights do not blink. I used an OEM trunk wiring harness and added HELC to the HO-WORT in the VO but I suspect my i-step level is too low.
