E85
I keep hearing how people run a little bit of e85 in the n20. Even with stock fueling system I’ve run as much as 4 gallons with a full tank of 93 with JB4 map 5
Didn’t really notice a difference, recently switched to a flash of just 93 ran 2 gallons on a full tank and the car really had a hard time shifting at the higher RPM I know it’s not flashed for it but it started to do the same thing with jb4 with lower mix. With just straight 93 car runs fine. I do t plan on running it again but could there be something wrong with my lpfp now that I ran it? And has anyone else had this problem I read people getting 109 traps at the track with this e30 mix on stock pump..how? |

Most likely because they're running a tune that utilizes the extra ethanol. People that add ethanol to their gas and run regular maps are only doing so to bump up the octane of their crappy gas in an effort to clean up timing.
