Hey, well I had my car go into neutral when I drove off my parking (happened 2x). Then yesterday it was fine. However, this morning i turned my car on and it was in park. After 2 minutes of being in park, i reved up and down few times and just turned off.

I have no check engine light or anything pop on my dash. I assumed maybe its dirty MAF sensor since I changed my intake to a CTS intake. However, I assume I would have a check engine light on.
Its a 5 year old car with 30k miles. I thought maybe time for new battery?

Don't add your name to the list of people who bought a battery for no good reason just because someone made an internet diagnosis. Whatever is causing the car to go into neutral should come up on a scan with a diagnostic tool. That's the first step in diagnosing any problem. First you find out what's broken, then you fix it, not the other way around. Besides, if you get a battery you'll need a diagnostic repair tool like Bimmerlink to register it.

Withe proper care, which includes using a maintainer if you don't drive much in winter, a battery may last at least eight years. Mine is approaching seven, and it's as good as the day it was new.

Mine lasted 6+ years on a daily driver. These batteries are pretty big so they can accommodate the stop/start system. They are otherwise oversized for such a small engine.

Diagnose your issue. Get a maintainer. My Subaru had an undersized battery and didn’t last long. I have a maintainer now for my bmw and my daughter’s Subaru just in case.
The battery in her HHR was 13 years old and still kicking when we traded it in.

It just depends. Take care of it and it should take care of you. Winter is here so I am keeping our cars on the maintainer once a week.

I generally drive only one day a week in winter, and then for only ten miles, so the rest of the time it's on the maintainer. That would be overkill in warmer areas, but not in New Hampshire, or Chicago and Cleveland, let alone The Great White North.

That probably has nothing to do with the battery.

Swap back to stock intake and see if the problem persists.

Agreed. Switch back to stock intake and clean the maf. Then see if the code goes away.
A lot of aftermarket hot air intakes just aren’t worth the sound.
