I'm also tempted with my '340i' in black.. But the car is Estoril body colour so not sure it would look as good.
I'd say on a white body, it would look great.
Where you you seen the black letters, Ebay ?

Yes, I think it will go well on white - chrome is out of place particularly after changing the exhaust tips to carbon

I now ordered it from a UK seller so will be able to install next week:

I personally wouldn't debadge a 440i, I would go black chrome though!

That was easy!
Heated it up a bit with a hairdryer and shaved off the numbers with dental floss.



The old glue could be rubbed off with a finger and then clean with isopropyl

Left a faint mark so I could see exactly where to put the new numbers
