Read that f30 with xdrive tend to have suspension issues after lowering your car past a certain threshold.

I have a 2014 f30 and Im looking to go on kw v2 coilovers. What is a safe distance I can lower it with running into suspension issues. I heard anything over an 1.5" is pushing your look. Is 1" a safe number?
Can anyone provide me with some info

I am also planning on going up a wheel size from 18" rims to 19"

I have been lowered for 4 years and over 70k KMs.
Was on Dinan lowering springs before and now running Bilstein B14 PSS for the past year or so.
No issues but rides is definitely stiffer and I plan my route to avoid nasty roads lol

With an xdrive? That's can't be just 3/4". I've lowered mine about 1" and still had two ginger gaps on 18s. Are you on 20s??

Maybe he is talking rear? I’m at one inch rear and that was less than a finger gap on stock 18s. On 19s and slightly over sized tires (235/40/19) the top of tire is dang near even to arch.

Front I’m at 1.5 and tucking tire on both sizes.

UPDATE.

Im currently running a supper aggressive setup
235/35/19
19 x 9.5
12 mm spacers up front

Will have any issues with suspension parts breaking or rubbing with lowering with this setup? About an inch in the front?
