Thanks.
If you're considering a warranty, seriously look no further and just work with Christine.

When I decided to buy out my 2018 340i lease back in March I wanted to get a warranty at the same time. I was also trying to figure out if getting it CPO'd would be worth it (it wasn't). In the end I bought a 7 year / 100,000 mi Platinum warranty from Christine. Super fast response, required zero negotiation because the price was fantastic the first proposal, and esigning the agreement was simple. I can't say enough good things about it. Just buy it. It really helps resale value too since they are transferable.

By the way, I got three different quotes before Christine. When I got her quote it was so much cheaper that I thought it was too good to be true, but it was the real deal. It was the exact same product as the other dealers, just way cheaper. They are out of state for me but made it easy. The warranty shows up in the computer system at my local BMW service dept.

Happy to answer any other questions, but my overall suggestions is just buy it from Christine if you're considering a warranty, there's no need to shop around.

Bump!

I just worked w/ Theresa Belvedere ( tbelvedere@stevethomasbmw.com ) and bought the UC+4! The entire process was very low stress. Never once did I feel pressured, intimidated, etc. In fact, when I stated I have an offer from my local dealer, she encouraged me to just make sure and review the details and didn't push for me to buy anything from her. At the end of this all, I purchased my warranty from her for significantly less than purchasing it from my local dealer. Do yourself a favor and make the call!

Some Help

Jimmy, I am sitting on my 2020 M8, non competition and trying to decide if i buy another M8 or just keep my car. It has less than 6,000 miles and the lease was up end of this month and i extended it the 2 months they do as a courtesy. I am trying to decide if I buy it, should I CPO or just extend the warranty. Do you guys CPO cars or do you need to see it, if you do CPO how would that work and cost?
If I go extended warranty I can contact Christine.

As far as buying a new one, what kind of pricing do you do and how do you work MF rates and MSD's and delivery?

Thanks

Harvey

sorry for the slight delay I was out on a hike. CPO you need to see it, for BMW plans yea just shoot Christine a quick email (closed sundays) and let her know the vin, miles, and youre a forum member and she can dial you in!

if you want to get a quote on a new ride, just shoot my guy Jimmy Miller a quick email at jmiller@stevethomasbmw.com let him know your specs, county, and zip and he can dial you in!!

Is there any benefit of buying extended coverage early. I'm told the warranty quotes get worse as mileage gets closer to the end of factory warranty.

I believe in some situation the price may vary, to know for sure in your situation I would shoot Christine a quick buzz (info in first post of this thread) and she can dial you in with no pressure at all.

also as im sure you know you have to get BMW plans before the factory warranty expires just a FYI incase

Ok I'm just gonna throw the question out there: is there any possible downside of buying the extended warranty (and the extended maintenance package) from a dealer that's thousands of miles away (I'm in nyc) instead of from your local dealer? Anything that may come up?

No, the plans can be bought from any store and used at any store. The only downside I can see not buying from us is you most likely would pay more

I just purchased a used 2015 435i from a local. He has car pretty stock, but did add a rear muffler to the exhaust. Would that still be okay under warranty?

all I can tell you is mod at your own risk. I can't say anything besides that. If the car has been flagged it would show up when the vin was ran. If the vin is run and the car has not been flagged then currently at that point in time the car is a candidate for a BMW program Hope that helps

I’m trying to decide between an extended warranty between BMW and Fidelity… several people have recommended to go through Fidelity as opposed to BMW but I’m not exactly sure why since my first inclination would be the BMW extended warranty would be the obvious way to go. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

I spoke w/ Christine today. The response was quick. I emailed her last night with the initial inquiry and had a quote locked in by noon today. The deal was too good to refuse… almost $2k cheaper than my local dealership for a Platinum 7yr/100k. It highly recommend going through these folks!

Thank you GOLFFRR!

I was wondering why the dealership is offering a third party plan ? Is it because it’s a CPO ? Why wouldn’t they be offering a BMW Warranty?, also the prices were kind of high. I have worked on cars and have done a turbo or two, but age is catching up with me and I’m not to sure I feel like jumping in anymore.

we personally dont sell third party, only BMW> if the car is CPO'd it most likely doesn't qualify for any additional programs that BMW offers. However I am not a expert on warranties so if you would like to reach out to christine to be safe she can answer it based off your specific vin asap no problem
