And the best part is that its all controlled in the iDrive, so there's no external remote or anything like with generic kits. This is easily my favorite mod I've done to my interior yet. The only thing I may try to address is the footwell lighting being a bit too bright; other than that its perfect.
The pictures show just a couple of the color options. I'm going with the dark purple-ish blue for now
Is this one of those AliExpress kits? Wasn't sure if it would work in my 2013 because I'm pretty sure it's CIC not NBT. But they were insisting it could work…

I was thinking about trying to shove a Philips Hue light strip into the door strip as an alternative. Not sure it will fit but am gonna give it a try.

Yes it is, I think it can work with CIC but you won't get the menu options, you have to utilize the radio buttons to change lighting colors

Very nice! The ambient lighting is pretty spiffy. I installed replacement LED modules that provide blue/white and are brighter than OEM. The 9 colors is pretty cool.

The blue gauge face plate looks pretty cool at night.
Thank you!

Installed some rear side skirt extensions on the back of the car. I didn't like how the bumper looked bare compared to the side skirts before, and I'm really happy with how these turned out. They add a nice bit of extra pop to the back

I finally installed my Bilstein B14 kit that I bought like 9 months ago lol.
My old shocks were absolutely shot, so its actually quite a bit comfier than the stock suspension (but that's because they were ROUGH- I was able to compress them with very little force).
It handles way better than before. The steering response is so much nicer and the body roll is all but eliminated.

I have it adjusted to pretty much the lowest setting- on both the front and the rear, the adjustments are only a couple threads from the bottom. The lowered look looks much nicer than stock, although I'm scraping almost every driveway now lol

I have the same coilovers and I love them. I have adjusted them once but need to adjust them one more time and I think it will be perfect.

Go Bucks!

Hey man, just ordered a 9 colour ambient kit from AliExpress that plugs into the idrive although I’m having a bit of trouble with the install, where are you meant to connect the cable that goes from the aftermarket control box to the oem car plug? I thought it was the cable that plugs into the radio trim at first as it fits in there nicely but the lighting strips don’t turn on, do you have to do the coding before connecting the lights? Any help would be appreciated thanks heaps

very clean build. I'm a fan of slightly darker taillights but not super smoked or black like you see on a lot of ghetto cars.

Well unfortunately, this weekend Hilda suffered a tragic death.
I sold the car on Sunday, and not 5 hours later, the buyer’s dad was driving the car and totaled it. Thankfully, BMW’s safety came into play and everyone walked away from the accident in one piece.
I’m very sad she’s gone, but also very happy for the memories she’s given me and the fun I’ve had with her.
RIP Hilda, 2016-2023. She will be missed dearly
