N26 GFB DV

Hello
I just installed my GFB Diverter Valve on my 2012 328i N26 F30. I was expecting it to have a nice turbo flutter. The car used to sound like “pooshhhh” without installing the gfb dv. After installing the gfb dv it sounded a bit muffled i guess u can say, but no flutter. I will attach 2 videos
Please let me know if u guys know what the issue can be
Installation took me about 3 hours and i want to make sure that it was worth it.
Only difference i really noticed was the throttle response
Current mods:
Injen intake
VRSF charge pipe
E30 mix
Agg burbles

Stock turbo + turbo inlet + open cold air intake it's pretty quiet without boost and load.

Upgraded turbo it sounds like a LOUD turkey. You need boost and air moving to make it flutter if any. Little throttle here and there and there's not enough boost to move air around enough.

Note sure honestly. It revs up weird at the beginning of when i start to rev it everytime. Never knew if thats regular of if its an issue, and if it was an issue i wouldnt know what its called. It revs up but it feels /heavy/ before getting past 1-1.2k rpm, always had this with the car ever since I bought it but if u can help me find out what it is then itll be much appreciated

Yes but all those youtube videos show that all you need is an intake and the DV, no need for any other mods to get the flutter.

Have you driven the car? Does it do it when accelerating and letting off?

mine doesn't have the diverter valve, it's stock, but with the k&n filter and the upper intake, the sound is incredible
simply to make it sound you can make a simple purchase and you will see how it works for you.
K&N filter for oem box and upper intake, and you will see that it sounds without having to make many modifications

the intake silencer .... is quite large that's why it doesn't sound at all

the difference is quite big

I have one of those Turner pipes sitting around. The injen intake if it's the entire unit, removes that baffling from the intake track.

You need load to built boost and get the turbo flutter you're looking for. Stock tune won't do it.

Does the stock intake silencer restrict air coming into turbo inlet? Or it’s just a sound silencer? Have you measure the diameter of the oem silencer vs turner?

The stock turbo inlet doesnt have any baffling. It just flexes a bit and breaks after too many heat cycles when trying to remove the mounted bolt it cracks.
