Hello All!

Just picked up a 2015 F30 335I Xdrive 6MT. Got it with 25K miles on it!

I'm coming from an E70 X5M which I loved and will surely miss, was just getting up there in the miles and wanted to downsize a bit. Before the X5M I had a 997 911 C4S, an F10 M5 and an E46 M3.

The 335 is fun & definitely happy I got it in stick. My only gripes are it doesn't have M Sport, or comfort access of which I know i can add for the right price. I'll probably begin modding next month, will be going the JB4 and burger intake route for sure, not sure how much further ill be taking it but excited to start this journey.

Anybody know if the Msport bumper fits the non Msport cars? (I haven't searched the forums yet but definitely will!)

Congrats on the car! The bumper should fit, especially if you go the OEM route

The OEM M Sport bumper requires a lot of add-on parts. I haven't done it but have done a little research on the matter. If you buy an aftermarket kit, the consensus is that quality is top notch and it comes with most necessary parts to install. But yes, the OEM bumper will fit, just with a bunch of supporting parts.

You should consider MHD or Bootmod3 instead of JB4. They both can be installed via the OBD2 interface without a bench unlock and IMO provide much more control of the engine tune.

Greetings, and congrats on the new ride! Any pics? I have the same car but an M Sport, minus the xdrive and with the 6MT. I absolutely Love mine and would suggest you upgrade your charge pipe before any modding. They tend to blow with stock boost, so any added boost will put it over the edge.

I bought a charge pipe for future modifications, but I don't know if I'd recommend a stock ECU be upgraded with an aftermarket CP. The incidence of stock cars blowing their charge pipes is pretty low. It's worth "risking" it if you have stock boost. Even a lot of people with Stage 1 tunes keep their stock CPs, though that's probably not a good idea.

Thanks! Still contemplating this as it seems there are a lot of other parts that have to be changed along side it!

Was looking into MHD, do you have any experience with it? I was thinking JB4 because I know I can get support if I need it from Terry and other forum members. Wasn't sure how big a following MHD has

Congratulations - very nice low mileage F30!

xDrive equipped vehicle have base suspensions and at some point float and body roll symptoms will warrant a close look at suspension upgrade options.

I hear ya! I wasn't impressed with mine at first after the first two test drives, but something told me to buy it. Three months after purchase she was FBO status and I couldn't be happier. Plenty of power and fun to be unlocked with these cars!

Wasn't impressed either, but it's definitely growing on me. Might go MHD for now (did a little reading around here, sound promising) don't really want to take everything apart for JB4. Not sure how far I plan on going with power adders yet, don't think i want to go catless because of the smell but maybe High flow cats or something down the line. I may have my priorities backwards right now but I NEED to get rid of that god awful steering wheel. Its too damn big bulky.

PS one day of ownership and I already swapped the shift knob for the BMW ZHP knob had it on my E46 M3 and missed it SO much

Yea body Roll is BAD, Something definitely has to be done about it, kinda scary when going into an off ramp curve at speed. My X5M felt better on these type of curves then this.

Another flash tune option is the Active Autowerke flash tune.

BM3 seems to be the most popular one on these forums, but AA makes great products too.

Congrats & welcome. I recently added the MHD stage 1 and have a VRSF CP on order. It's a nice boost, but not like...OMG.

One of the mods I did a while back was replace the steering wheel. Really hated how the regular wheel felt, and absolutely love the new one. Easy swap and you can use the same airbag. More info here: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1323430
