Is the shift knob a direct bolt on in an F30? Or did you have to mod anything.

Direct fit...E9X shares the same shift knob and handle with F3X. the difference is the boot that is why I used OEM boot.

When you took off the OEM shift knob, there will be a base on the booth. the New shift knob will sit on top of the base.
