I guess there are a lot of 316 owners but not much in this forum

how much did it cost you ? I guess it is sports line .. what is the car specifications and options ?
Bro since the duties are insane here in Pakistan, the car cost me Euro 52,000/-. I know that's a ridiculous amount and elsewhere a full spec 335i can be bought with the same amount of money! Having owned an E90 330i before this, I do regret the significant loss in power but this car is miles ahead of the E90 in terms of handling, ride, and interior quality, among other things.

Specifications are as follows:
* Black Sensatec with Red Highlights (incl. interior trim finishers with black high-gloss & Coral Red matt trim)
* Glass Roof Electrical
* Roller sunblind for rear window
* Roller sunblind for rear side windows, mechanical
* Interior, Exterior & rear-view mirrors with auto anti-dazzle function
* Centre Armrest
* Fog lights
* Servotronic
* Arm rest front sliding
* Xenon Lights
* Cruise control (this is not standard here!)
* USB Hands free
* Hifi Loundspeaker System
* Sun protection glazing
and other standard options such as CBC, DTC, DSC, Dynamic Braking Lights, Engine design for Poor Quality Fuel, Hot Climate Version, Additional 12V Sockets etc.

The features/options that come with the Sports Line also vary region-wise. The ones that came with my car are:
Interior equipment features:
* Door sill finishers in aluminium with “BMW Sport” lettering
* Sport seats for driver and front passenger
* Sport leather steering wheel with red contrast stitching
* Black, high-gloss interior trim with accent trim
in Coral Red, matt
* Interior illumination with variable colour effects in
Orange-Red or White – selected via the iDrive Controller
* Speedometer and rev counter with red Chrono scales and
red contrasting ring
* Chrome trim on air conditioning and radio controls
* Driving Experience Control, with additional Sport+ mode
* Car key with Red trim

Exterior equipment features:
* 17" alloy wheels star-spoke 393
* Front and rear bumpers with specific features in
high-gloss Black
* BMW kidney grille with 8 slats in high-gloss Black
* Exterior mirror caps in high-gloss Black
* B-pillar and window uprights in Black, high-gloss
* “Sport” lettering along the side
* Tailpipe trim in Black, chrome-plated
and welcome to the forum

Very Nice pictures! the car looks good in black and red trims, you will enjoy it

Here are the differences from mine:
- You paid 4,000 Euros more than me we both could get full option 335 in US ))
- Except of the Sport-Line VS. Modern Line highlights:
- Unlike me, you have been smart enough to get the Xennon lights, I didn't know it includes the angle eyes and it was part of a big package, now I regret it..
- You have the shading and stuff related to hot weather
- You have a Hi-Fi amplified system with tweeters in the side doors, I'm in the
process to upgrade my basic 6-speakers system.

In the other side:

I noticed that you do not have Auto-Lights sensors

Do you have basic or enhanced USB ?

Yes correct I do not have the auto lights sensors.

Like many people across the globe, I was told by the BMW dealer that the basic Bluetooth would be able to play the iPod/iPhone. Had I done a little research on this, I would have definitely opted for the enhanced Bluetooth and not the basic Bluetooth with limited features.

Does anyone know of a retrofit for enhanced Bluetooth because I don't think the Y-cable would play songs digitally therefore compromising on the quality of sound

Don't even bother, get your music on a USB stick and arrange the files well, this is the best option

My country just launched the 316i also which cost RM209,888. Translate to USD is probable around $66k. =) and this might not be the hot seller as most ppl here opted for 320i and 328i which cost from $78k - $94k. and some 335i at $154k. Talk about expensive, Thailand and Singapore cost more than us.

I had it installed locally here in Israel, the installer was not welling to tell any details where he got the parts
All I know that it is two separate parts, the base is specially for F30 and the holder is specially for IPhone.
Sure it is not BMW parts

Whether it's a 6cyl or 4 cyl, you guys still get the pleasure and the joy to drive a BMW.

I can tell from the photos that you all get the same quality cars, just with more environmental friendly engines.

Enjoy your F30s guys!

It's not a twin-turbo, but a twin-scroll turbo. BMW uses twin-scroll technology also in many of the larger engines.

Hi,

Fellow F30 316i owner chipping in. Got my ride in early August this year. Made a few small mods: tinted windows, swapped the 17in RFT with 18in Michelin PS3 and Msport rims (I think M5?). Pictures as attached:

Appreciate your thoughts and possible next stage of modifications.
