Code for fan to remain off at start?

Currently, when I start the F30, the fan comes on automatically. Is there any code where I can change something so that the fan doesn't turn on when I turn the ignition on? I got both carly and bimmercode.

Fan refers to the air conditioning?

Yes aircon fan but the aircon part is off. It's only the fan that comes on during ignition.

Coding solves this for you.
you can do it with e-sys (requires advanced knowledge in coding) or you do it with the BimmerCode App (which has an intuitive interface)

Yes I know and the first post is to ask for which values I need to change in bimmercode.

Why not just look at what BC is offering under Air Conditioning? There are at least 3 options that should apply to your car. Just pick one or more and see what happens. You won't break anything!

I tried but the option only affects the aircon but not the fan itself. I am sure there will be something in expert mode but i just dont know which option is it.

For a 2014 F30, BC gives the options:

Air circulation setting memory
Enable/disable storing of the air circulation setting. If this function is active, the last used air circulation setting will be restored during the next start of the car.
Values:
Active
Not active
Requirements:
“Air Conditioning” IHKA_VA01 or “Air Conditioning” IHKA_VA02 control unit

Air conditioning on in AUTO mode
Enable/disable the automatic activation of the air conditioning when the AUTO mode is turned on.
Values:
Active
Not active
Requirements:
“Air Conditioning” IHKA_VA01 or “Air Conditioning” IHKA_VA02 control unit

Values:

Requirements:

Automatic Air Recirculation
Enable/disable the Automatic Air Recirculation function.
Values:
Active
Not active
Requirements:
“Air Conditioning” IHKA_VA02 control unit

Are you certain that none of these solves your problem? If that is the case I think you are out of luck. Why are you so sure that expert mode is the answer?

Unfortunately none of these options solves the issue. Expert mode generally has more settings that are not available in normal mode.
