What is the earliest and latest you can service with a service pack?

My service pack has been worth it's weight in gold. Before the terms and conditions were changed I had new M sport discs and pads all around.

I'm currently on 49,000 miles. The pack runs to 50,000.

Oil is due in 4,200.

My wife said: "Good. You can join the rest of us who have to pay to get their car serviced!"

Thanks

I believe it has to be within the parameters to be guaranteed. Anything that falls outside of the parameters requires a check with H.O. for approval.

My service pack expires 20/09/17 and brake fluid was due 01/10/17. Coventry Sytner had to put a call through to check if they could put it through with my oil service - which they did.

Good luck

I booked my last car in for a service (originally it would have been about 600miles early) but due to travelling for work I took it in with 1400 to go. Dealer out and out refused to service it even though I quite correctly pointed out that it would be the last service on the service pack and had they serviced it the next one would be due sooner (thus financially in their favour). There were about 9000 miles left to go on the service pack at the time.

Pads and discs aren't covered on service pack are they? Or did they used to be?

I believe they were covered on 'Service Inclusive Plus'.

Regards the original question, I think you've got to be within 1000 miles for the service to be allowed.

Thanks. I will contact the dealership and see what they say.

service pack

when i asked about having my service done early [ due to going on holiday ] I was told the miles to service due , indicated on start up had to change to an orange colour before they were allowed to do it on a service pack
I dont do many miles so my car is always serviced on time rather than miles

I was told the same. For any Mileage service requirements, anything under 1k miles before the service is due is fine. For date based servicing requirements, you have to wait until the first of that month.

Of course none of this really matters because you could ring up 3 different dealerships and get 3 different answers.

I got a service done 2500 miles early. Dealer said they can do it 1 month in advance and as that about my monthly mileage they were good with that.

I do similar mileage, so it is a problem because if I wait until the service light comes on it's then about 4 weeks until they can fit me in, by which times it will be over a thousand miles overdue!

I don't think that exists in the UK and they seem to be progressively shrinking service packs. We have an 8 year / 80k mile service pack on our Mini (TLC + TLC XL), but even that has now been discontinued.

It does in Ireland anyway and BMW Ireland is a sub division of BMW UK. I only discussed this with the dealer I bought the car from in Dublin last week. I can upgrade to the 8 year 160k km pack any time before the car's 5th birthday or it hits 100k kms.

I've a link to the service pack prices below. Looks like the price list has been taken down but it's still in google cache:
