I get the negative comments. BMW usually evolves in styling. (except for the fugly E60). This new grille design is way over the top. That said, I didn't hate it yesterday and looking at photos again today, its growing on me.
Many brands are getting crazy big grilles. It's possible that many of us will adapt to this new grille design over time. Time will tell if people will actually spend money taking this grille off and installing the "old" look. My guess is that move won't be widely popular. |

The early spy pics were pretty hideous but now? With no camo it's not bad. Not great, mind you, but not off-putting enough to dismiss future ownership. What I really don't like is that bulging rear bumper. It looks like it's trying to poop out another bumper.
Looks nice from the side, and the interior materials seem more fitting the price of this car vs the F80 which to me looked a little cheap. I've been waiting for this car for awhile. My 2014 is fine, and looks new, but I'm ready for something more. The car I really want next is out of my price range (Cayman GTS) and this is the next best thing that can still be had with a manual and a six. Obvs not doing anything until I can see and drive one.
