Hello everyone I'm new to the forum world so bare with me.

I know there are many posts regarding this engine noise issue on N20/N26 engines however I could not find a post or video that replicated the noise I've come across with my vehicle. It's a 2015 F30 328I with the N26 engine, production date 11/05/14. In the attached video you can hear the nosie I've been experiencing right near the end. Any input would be great as I'd like to know if this is a timing chain issue, got just under 69k miles at time of posting.

Remote audio-only diagnostics are nearly impossible to perform.

Are you the original owner of the vehicle? What is the maintenance history?

I don't know it sounds normal. The new direct injections almost sound like a diesel

True I agree an audio diag isn't reliable. I'm the second owner aside from it being a rental. Since I've had it I've taken care of it in terms of performing preventative maintenance and have not had any issues so far.
