Just tried some launches this past weekend to play with the launch control.
Did a best of 2.0 60ft with LC. For some reason i feel a slight delay on power delivery after releasing the brake pedal.

Went ahead and tried my sport setting and turned off dsc...and it launched much harder, managed a 1.85 60ft and did not feel the mentioned delay.
Are any of you guys are getting better launches with anything other than launch control?

I have a rwd 435i and launch control is useless. But also, because I'm rwd, dsc off is kinda useless too. Either way I'm spinning.

Best launch I can get is to let off the brake/get on the gas simultaneously in sport+/sport trans. And still feather it a bit.

Launch control is a fun way to burn the rubber off you tires for a few gears though.

I think 1.68 ~ 1.72 sec should be achieve, summer and high performance summer tires.
Which tires do you have ? Which conditions ? Ambient temp ? Tire pressures ?

My best is 1.6 flat with dsc off from 2nd gear, on heavy 2 piece bbs wrapped in nt05. Try going from 2nd with dsc off foot hard on the brake and revs at 2500+ to find your sweet spot.
